We had the most fabulous time camping in Steamboat Springs. The weather was perfect (mostly), the people were very friendly and Steamboat was gorgeous. We tubed down the Yampa River, screamed down the Alpine Slide, hiked up the trails, swam in the pool, visited all the springs, told scary stories in the fire light, made lots of smores and truly enjoyed being together.
Breakfast over an open fire.
Yummy!
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Julie and I raced Megan (she won).
The boys were much faster. Gravity wasn't on Joey's side.
The hot springs ran down to the river
turning the rocks white.

One of the many hot springs pools
sulfur is stinky!
Tommy's holding on for his life. He hated the rapids.
You can see the slopes in the background
The pond is made from 4 different springs pooling together. It was called Sweetwater Springs.

Great photos! Those hot springs look like mini hot tubs!
I want to go camping with you guys. It looked like a great time. You really do have the cutest family.
That looks like heaven. How wonderful to see your family enjoying each other so happily.
