It's over

We had a fabulous Christmas this year. We really enjoyed being together and spending the past few days with my family. Thomas was the funniest thing ever. This was the first year he really "got it". He loved wrapping the gifts and watching his pile grow over the weeks. He was absolutely thrilled with every gift he opened.

The excitement is starting to die down. Dh took the three big kids skiing and boarding today. I took most of the decorations down and gave the house a good deep cleaning. It is so strange to be all alone with the two little guys. They have been playing great together with their new gifts. They spent two whole hours together in baby jail without anyone getting hurt or crying. That in itself is a Christmas miracle. ;-) They are both napping now and I'm enjoying some fudge.

The house is clean. The babies are asleep. Dh and the kids are gone. Hmmm I think I will take a long bath and read a mindless novel. Life is good.
