I want to cry

I spent the better part of 5 hours writing a 7 page paper this afternoon. In doing so, I missed a going away party for a dear friend. :(

It was a very specific paper that required tons of research into very specific sociological terms and theories applied to the movie The Mission (1986). There was absolutely no BSing in it.

To make a long story short, my paper disappeared into the computer abyss. After a huge emotional breakdown and a shower, I again researched and rewrote the entire thing.

I'm exhausted.
