Training

My friend, Nicole, is trying very hard to convince me to join her relay team at the open water swim taking place on the 30th. I can't believe I'm typing this but, I'm seriously considering it. I'd have to swim 1500 meters in 30 minutes. I'm actively training

I should mention that Nicole is the swim team coach. We both had our babies almost two years ago and we both are quite a bit out of shape, me more so than her. The other two teammates are ...well... fit.

We took our kiddos to the zoo on Monday. Although, it's on the side of the mountain and they are renovating it so that you have to climb up up up and then down and then up up up again to see the animals, we had a great day. I wasn't even sore the next day. Perhaps the training is paying off. It was a lot of fun.

Johnny and Kami are just a few weeks apart in age. She is almost double his size. lol

Nothing compares to eating junk at the zoo!
