Last summer a huge crew came in and "flipped" this house. It's located in a prime spot. The neighborhood had gorgeous views and 1-5 acre lots. It's a little oasis of county land smack dab in the middle of the city. Many of the houses in the 3 mile block have horses and some have pools (a rarity in Colorado).
It's in between my parent's house and mine, about 5 minutes away. So we were able to watch the transformation. I think it was about a month of construction.
I have no idea what the inside looks like but the outside is um... interesting. It was white with blue trim. There was a huge, brand new privacy fence surrounding the property. There were new lilac bushes along the road.
Here it is after it's transformation. The Pumpkin House:

I don't understand half of the decisions that people make when doing remodeling. We are currently in the middle of a huge renovation at our house, fixing all kinds of issues created by the previous owner. He added an enormous master bedroom, but the only way to get to it is by walking through the only bathroom in the house. Why would somebody do that?
That house does look like a giant pumpkin. Strange.
