Joey has enjoyed taking classes at a particular megachurch for many years. This church had some very bad things happen to it last month as the result of a madman. Anyhow, I didn't really think about it at all until I pulled into the parking lot on that cold snowy day.
Chills ran down my spin as I started driving in the direction of the parking lot. I was pleasantly surprised to see an open spot near the doors since I usually have to park a great distance away.
As I pulled into the spot I noticed flowers, crosses and letters. I was parked in the exact spot that innocence was lost. Oh, was that a strange feeling. As I entered the building I noticed that all the tables , chairs and carpet were gone. It's now a huge open tiled hallway. I couldn't help but think of what happened right there. I was standing where an evil person was killed. 
Nobody else seemed to be bothered in the least. Everyone was going on with their business making normal chit-chat, laughing, playing board games, running around, chasing babies-completely being normal. It just seemed so un-normal to me. Life goes on I guess...
