Saturday

0600- Wake up, make breakfast, chaos begins :)

0700- Joey, Megan and Maggie (who's staying with us for two weeks) leave for Open water

0800-Dh goes to work

08:30- Julie and Bailee (who slept over) go to soccer camp
0900- Lil Ones and I arrive at lake, I notice the temp. is a balmy 58° (It was 96 the day before) sigh.

0901- Unload car, carry Johnny, double lawn chair, two huge blankets, cooler and camera to swimming area

0910- arrive at area- arms already aching, chair and blankets try to blow away. Huge gusts of wind = sand pelting my face. Ouch! I begin to worry that John might actually blow away.

0915- Fight begins- Mom vs Curious Little Boys (who are quicker and team up)

0916- mom gives up and both boys go into the freezing lake 0920-Boys are crying "I'm coooooold!" "I'm FREEZING" "Mooooooooooooooooooom, I'm coooooooold!" Repeat ad nauseum for the next three hours

0930- Maggie finishes her 3K- 1:06:10.00, she could've finished much faster but chose to swim with a timid friend.

0940: Joey and Megs stop playing with friends to wrap up in a blanket together. Yep, it's that cold!

1000- The clouds part, a rainbow appears, the angels sing the Hallelujah chorus. Johnny falls asleep in a blanked on the sand. I almost can't believe my eyes. It's truly a miracle sent from heaven. Coach's dh stares in disbelief, "Is that Johnny?" "Asleep?" "Really?" "No way!"

1045- Joey and Megan "warm up." Or..um.. stand waist deep in freezing water and shiver while everyone around them swim. Eventually the officials yell "Law kids- SWIM or GET OUT! If you don't swim you're going to catch hypothermia!"

1100- Reluctant Laws dive in "warming up"

1130ish- Joey comes in for the finish. He's flew through the water maintaining 1st place the entire race- 6:25.00

She came in second in her age group (10 and unders) -7:41.00

1145-awards ceremony

12- team goes to Josh and John's for sundaes Um...who's bright idea was ice cream???

1230-drive like a mad woman

12:45 arrive home begin marathon shower sessions

1300-begin dressing and doing hair x5

1310- drive like a mad woman to pick up Julie

1320- pick up Julie- Drive like a mad woman

1340- arrive at church

1341- discover I forgot Julie's dress shoes. She will wear her dress and soccer shoe to the wedding

1350-leave children in pew (near the very front of the church) to walk down the isle

1350-1400- pray like a mad woman that said children don't do anything too naughty

1500- wedding was huge success, children were very well behaved. Big sigh of relief.

1530- arrive at reception hall

1540-2000-Replay the video clip (14 seconds long) 5,755,921 times to get an idea of my night

2100- Go home, jammies, brush teeth kids go to bed

2115- Megan begins vomiting.

2115-0500-vomiting continues at 20 minute intervals, lovely.

0301- I officially lose my mind. :-)
