I hate going to the doctor's office. Yesterday I took the girls in for their yearly physicals. They were both happy and healthy. Today my 5 year old has a fever and a sore throat. Coincidence...I think not. UGH
I'm sure Megan and Joey will get sick this weekend, just in time for the Gold City Swim Meet.
On the whole, my children rarely get ill. When the kids came down with strep last month the doctor informed me that my 9 year old hadn't been seen in over 4 years. My oldest 4 have only been on antibiotics 4 times, total. My baby on the other hand has struggled with ear infections. Tubes are in his future. :-(
I was a bit bummed when the doc imported the girls stats into the computer. It estimated Julie to only reach 4'9"-4'11". At 5 years 6 months she is 35 lbs, and 40 inches, below the 5% mark. Julie had hypothyroidism as a baby. I think that is a contributing factor. :( My poor lil Punkin.
Megan (age 7) is estimated to be in the 5'8"- 5'10" range. The tall genes run on my side of the family. My brothers are 6'2"-6'5". Even my sister who was adopted from China is 5'9" LOL.

Oh no!! Poor baby! Why is it that somehow they always get sick *after* being at the Dr's office. Or being appearing healthy after making the appointment for them being really sick. I don't get that about kids! LOL!
I really hope that they bounce back quickly!
