Happy Mother's Day

Today is my favorite day of the year.

The girls made me this poster and hung it in the doorway.

I slept in until 8. The kids greeted me with adorable homemade cards and gifts. I'm the proud new owner of a rose bush, photo bracelet with my five kiddos, $25 Starbucks card, travel coffee mug, and a beautiful plant.

After Mass we went on a 4 mile bike ride and then had Chipotle for lunch.
Dh and the kids told me to relax while they clean the house and fold the laundry. Julie is finally recovering from Strep. Unfortunately, I think Johnny might be coming down with it. He was burning up after the bike ride. I'm crossing my fingers that he was just overheated from the sun.
*edited to add* Then dh and the kids had me relax on the couch while they transformed the living room into a spa. The moved the furniture, made a cash register out of soft blocks on the piano bench, had a waterfall cd playing, put a blanket on the recliner, had the foot massager filled with water and gave me a luxurious pedicure and massage. It was absolutely adorable. My toes are pretty much covered in polish. :) They worked so hard on pampering me. It truly was a mother's day I'll never forget.
And best of all Joey comes home tonight!
