Ugh! My house has cooties!

Megan has strep and pinkeye!

She said she wasn't feeling well on our way home from a meet in Bailey yesterday evening. The team met up at CiCi's Pizza and she didn't eat a thing, which was highly unusual for her. She spiked a fever last night so I took her in this morning. In the waiting room her eye began to get swollen and slightly red. I can't believe she has pinkeye! None of us has ever had it before.

Despite being sick, she qualified for state in the 25 free yesterday. :) Looks like we're going to be vacationing in Lamar in August. Oh joy!

I'm hoping she is better by Tuesday so she can get in practice before the meet on Wednesday. She was supposed to start tennis lessons on Tuesday too. I suppose I better postpone those another week.

Oh and dh has athlete's foot. How gross is that?! I told him to wear flip flops in the showers at the club. Man, if only he listenend. I've been lysoling and bleaching down every washable surface in the house for the past three hours. All the linens have been laundered.

How contagious are pinkeye and athlete's foot?

On a more positive note, Joey has advanced to senior in swim team. The only downside is that practice starts at 6. That mean he has to be in the water wearing fins, goggles and his swimming snorkel, swimming at 6. Which means mom has to be up, feed him a healthy breakfast and drive him to the pool by 5:45. Ummm.... yawn. So much for catching up on my sleep this summer. :)
