We begin each day with an exercise routine.
And by “we” I mean: the little people and dh :-)
And by “we” I mean: the little people and dh :-)

(Again, "we"= not me)

Then it’s time for swim team practice. Joey goes to the early practice (6am YIKES) and the girls go at 8. So the exercise routine is usually repeated twice. Don’t worry dh is up for it. ;-)
I put the babies down for a nap and study.
And by study I mean: trying not to visit my mommy boards but instead do my learning
modules.

I prepare a freaking huge breakfast before the ravenous beasts arrive back home. After breakfast, we do our daily chores and schoolwork, which usually consists of 100 math problems (50 for J), typing and reading. The girls usually insist on doing some sort of art project as well and the boys object and flee to the backyard, unless there’s paint involved. Then they’re more than happy to participate.

We usually end up playing several board games, taking a walk or bike ride and have some sort of ice cream dessert before bed.
Then we get up and do it all over again the next day. :-)
I just love the ages the kids are right now. They’re all so much fun.
Dh works 4 10-hour days so he’s home a lot. (Works- Mon., Tues., Fri., Sat. home- Wed., Thurs., & Sun.) It’s amazing to watch him interact and converse with the kids. I’m at such a happy point in my life. :)
Tonight, though, it's just me and Johnny. Dh is at work and the four older kids are sleeping over at coach's house.
