Fine Art

Joey's class had a field trip to the Fine Art Center this afternoon. I volunteered as a parent chaperon and brought my baby sister with me. The tour was spectacular, to me. My sister was a little less impressed. She spent two days at The Met last summer so this was small beans.

The children had an art lesson at Bemis School of Art after the tour. Then the three of us went back through the museum spending much more time looking at the collections.

Photography was strictly forbidden inside the museum so I forced the kids to model with the sculptures outside. They almost pushed me into the street when I suggested they join the family holding hand in the nude. :)

While we were at the museum my mom forgot to pick up the girls from school. :) Ack! The girls thought it was a great adventure to spend time in the office. My mom felt terribly.
