Comcast recently bought out are internet provider, Adelphia. I, foolishly, assumed that we'd keep our rate of $24.99 a month. We just got a letter form Comcast stating that our Internet bill will go up to $59.99! :O WTF?!
Seriously, $60 bucks a month for internet only??? I suppose they are trying to get us to buy their cable TV packages and bundle the two together for a great deal. Whatever. We barly even watch TV. I'm certainly not going to get cable from them.
I'm pissed. I need high speed internet for my job. I can't imagine how long the data transfers would be on dial up. I'll be damned to pay $60 a month though. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
